Engineers and operates the district’s secure service edge capabilities, integrating cloud-delivered network and security services for users, campuses, applications, and remote access. Implements and optimizes secure web gateway, CASB, zero-trust access, firewall-as-a-service, SD-WAN integrations, policies, monitoring, and incident resolution.

• · Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• · 5–7 years of network/security engineering experience, including hands‑on SSE or SASE implementation
• · Advanced knowledge of SWG, CASB, ZTNA, FWaaS, DLP, identity integration, TLS inspection, routing, DNS, and cloud connectivity
• · Experience with platforms such as Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, Netskope, Cisco, or equivalent
• · Strong troubleshooting, automation, and design skills. Relevant vendor or advanced security certification preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and relevant professional experience may be considered. Assignment‑specific requirements may apply.
