- Optimize the flow of value from generation of ideas to release
- Coach your team(s) to create high-value items, while eliminating or reducing rework, waste in the process, etc
- Drive a value-first mindset by helping teams focus on outcomes over outputs and ensuring delivered solutions generate meaningful business impact
- Promote transparency on barriers to change, progress, and remove or seek assistance in addressing impediments and opportunities
- Enable your team(s) to practice Professional Scrum and other frameworks/techniques that drive agility
- Cultivate a habit of continuous learning (from prior increments, retrospectives, etc.), continuous experimentation, and continuous improvement to reach a high-performing state
- Collaborate with cross-functional squads and distributed teams to identify, track, and document dependencies, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely delivery of shared objectives.
- Coach your team(s) to understand (the why) and practice new ways of working
- Serve as internal trainers contributing to the learning and development of one or more team(s)
- Coach Product Owners/Managers with techniques for establishing empirical product planning and maintaining a healthy Product Backlog
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by leveraging metrics, observations, and team feedback to improve organizational effectiveness and delivery outcomes.
- Maintain, share, and promote information radiators that enable inspection and adaptation
- Coach teams to self-organize and facilitate events, as necessary
- Coordinate and manage releases by preparing release plans and ensuring timely communication of deployment activities, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams and stakeholder groups.
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in an agile environment
- Experience coaching agile methodologies to team and stakeholders
- Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
- Proven ability to promote a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally
