Senior Risk and Safety Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, TX Area (Hybrid Corporate environment with local travel)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000 (Based on experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Senior Risk and Safety Analyst to join our corporate operations team. This is a newly created, highly visible position designed for a self-starter who enjoys building standard operating procedures (SOPs) from the ground up.

While this role touches on physical safety compliance,
the primary focus is heavily weighted toward Risk Management. Reporting to the VP of Operations with a dotted line to the VP of Human Resources, you will be our corporate authority on claims management and safety data analytics. We are seeking a professional who understands how to manage insurance adjusters, track injury data, and mitigate corporate exposure. (

Note:

If you have a strong background in risk management and working with insurance adjusters, we will teach you the safety side of the business!)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Management: Oversee and act as the primary contact for all corporate insurance programs, with a heavy emphasis on Workers' Compensation, Auto Liability, Property, Cyber, and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims.
  • Adjuster Relations: Partner directly with external adjusters and brokers to actively manage claims. Anticipate litigation risks, manage lost-time claims, and direct strategies to reduce overall company exposure.
  • Data Analytics & Strategy: Extract claims data, injury types, and associated costs from our systems to build meaningful dashboards, monthly reports, and metrics for executive leadership to drive future safety strategies.
  • Program Development: Spend your first few weeks evaluating our current state to build, write, and implement risk management SOPs and policies from scratch.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301), coordinate safety training, submit annual reports, and support root-cause incident investigations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3 to 6+ years of experience specializing in risk management, workers' compensation, and claims administration.
  • High initiative and self-direction—you will be creating the roadmap and procedures for this newly structured role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn raw data into strategic operations reports.
  • Ability to travel (Approximately 70% in the corporate office and 30% local manufacturing presence. Includes day trips to a nearby facility 50 miles away, with roughly four short overnight trips per year).
