Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy (25%)
    • Develop and execute distribution-focused supply chain strategies aligned to growth, service-level expectations, and cost targets.
    • Translate enterprise supply chain strategy into scalable warehouse, transportation, and inventory operating models.
    • Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of large-scale, enterprise initiatives across Supply Chain.
    • Lead network optimization initiatives—facility utilization, throughput capacity, and distribution footprint.
  • Systems, Processes, Operational Efficiency and Problem Resolution (25%)
    • Own supply chain systems effectiveness—including WMS, ERP, forecasting, and inventory tools.
    • Standardize and optimize distribution processes to improve accuracy, productivity, and cost per case.
    • Track progress and performance using clear metrics; provide executive-level updates, remove blockers, and drive timely decisions.
    • Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to eliminate waste and increase operational efficiency.
    • Analyze complex supply chain constraints, assess risk, and make informed decisions that balance service, cost, and capacity.
    • Proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement sustainable solutions.
    • Lead scenario modeling and contingency planning for supply disruptions, demand volatility, and capacity constraints.
  • SKU Application and Inventory Management (15%)
    • Set program and portfolio governance—operating rhythms, decision forums, escalation paths, and accountability—to ensure disciplined execution.
    • Provide strategic oversight of SKU proliferation, slotting strategies, and item-level inventory deployment across distribution centers.
    • Partner with Customer Growth Strategy teams to align SKU application with demand patterns, service requirements, and profitability.
    • Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy, cycle‑count discipline, and root‑cause resolution for variances.
    • Proactively manage risks and issues; implement mitigation plans and ensure delivery against commitments.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement (10%)
    • Champion innovative thinking across distribution operations, systems design, and workforce models.
    • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies by standardizing best practices, improving mechanisms, and scaling repeatable playbooks.
    • Evaluate and pilot new technologies, automation, and process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability.
    • Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration (10%)
    • Build, lead, and develop high‑performing supply chain teams.
    • Serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, translating operational insights into strategic recommendations.
    • Engage and align senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Sales Operations, and other partner teams to deliver outcomes.
    • Influence across functions without direct authority to drive alignment and execution.
  • Team Coaching and Development (10%)
    • Manage one or more supply chain teams ensuring proper training, development, performance coaching, and evaluation.
    • Ensure all team members have the knowledge and tools needed to perform their job responsibilities.
    • Provide timely coaching and feedback to team members/peers.
  • Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
