The position supports long term and short-term competitive procurements pertaining to simple to complex build-to-print metallic Airframe parts. It entails supplier source selection, contract administration and purchase order placement in support of programs such as F-35, C-130, F-16 and F-22. The role requires a US Citizen and an understanding of FAR and DFARS. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities- Prepare bid packages, conduct bidder briefings, evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions.
- Recommend and select subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
- Document and interface with functional organizations.
- Procure build-to-print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings for aircraft programs.
- Help develop solutions for complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience in Built-to-Print Supply Chain, Procurement, Buyer and/or Subcontract Management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with multi-tasking, following up, and seeing assignments through to completion.
- Detail-oriented, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience making business-based decisions and critical thinking.
- Knowledge of buying under FAR/DFARS and other acquisition policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand technical requirements, drawings, manufacturing processes for build-to-print parts.
- Proactive, customer service oriented, team-oriented, accountable.
- Team player with coaching, training, and reviewing experience.
- Management experience with systems, applications, and processes (SAP, P2P, PO folders).
The position is primarily on site in Fort Worth, TX, with part-time remote telework. The employee will work part of the week remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule, including a 4x10 hour day schedule with 3 days off per week, will be discussed during the hiring process.
