About the Position
The Logistics Sales Executives play a key role in managing transportation for customers in the ITS network. This position focuses on procurement, management, service, and execution across multiple supply chains, ensuring goods move efficiently and reliably from origin to destination. Team members work closely with customers, carriers, and internal partners to deliver creative logistics solutions while maintaining service expectations.
Capacity Procurement- Procure capacity to ensure timely and efficient transportation of customer freight.
- Source and vet capacity to meet ITS high standards of excellence and safety.
- Provide solutions to customers’ supply chain challenges in time-sensitive, high-pressure situations.
- Balance competitiveness with operational expectations aligned with customer requirements.
- Negotiate rates with carrier partners.
- Maintain constant communication with customers to meet service expectations.
- Build relationships with carriers to thoroughly execute on customer requirements.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and departments across the division to optimize all shipments in the ITS Network.
- Track all shipments consistently throughout transit to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Provide real-time updates to customers on the location of their goods.
- Ensure excellent data integrity in all systems.
- Efficiently pair shipments across the network and multiple teams to minimize cost.
- 0–8 years of professional experience preferred (entry-level position).
- Experience in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment.
- Previous experience in customer management is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office Products (Word and Excel).
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with all different personalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Highly energetic and positive attitude.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback to make long-term changes quickly.
