Duties & Responsibilities
  • Processes Capital, Spares, Service, Repair and Transfer orders in the ERP system daily.
  • Prepares all shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments including export documents, bill of lading, pick list and custom documents.
  • Coordinating warranty shipments with Service, Repair Departments and vendor returns.
  • Arranges transportation for all shipments and secures freight costs as required.
  • Provides accurate and complete shipping records.
  • Operates machinery safely and reports any equipment maintenance or problems to supervisor.
  • Notifies appropriate departments of any discrepancies and/or problems with material.
  • Mentors and trains other personnel.
  • Verifies inbound/outbound material is compliant with order or purchase order requirements before packaging or loading.
  • Prepares shipments including boxing, weighing, labeling and consolidating orders when necessary.
  • Maintains warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Interfaces professionally with multiple departments:
    Sales, Service, Repair, QA, Inspection, Purchasing, Manufacturing & Planning.
  • Works with Sales Department, Project Management and Accounting to resolve shipping issues.
  • Achieves same day order turns and shipping measurement standards established by the Inventory Manager.
  • Works with Material Handlers to achieve the proper priority of orders to be pulled and packaged for shipment.
  • Responds to after‑hours calls with applicable documents, transport arrangements and inventory records (rotational responsibility).
  • Follows all company and corporate policies, procedures, and programs, including process map, support processes and HSE requirements.
  • Maintains warehouse supplies and submits requisitions to Inventory Manager.
  • Owns, organizes, and maintains personal, company equipment and work area professionally and attends scheduled HSE training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Works extra hours daily and on weekends as required.
  • Works in a non‑air‑conditioned warehouse environment with PPE.
  • Enforces all safety and environmental policies and programs; uses personal safety devices as required; reports any activities that could be detrimental to safety or productivity; reports injuries when they occur.
  • Willing to be cross‑trained and to train others.
  • Maintains working knowledge of operating systems related to Inventory, Shipping, and Material Handling functions.
  • Operates material handling equipment; achieves and maintains forklift operator certification and uses safe working practices.
  • Reads and understands production routers and blueprints.
  • Operates company forklifts and is capable of achieving and maintaining certification for such equipment.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and shares information to complete tasks and eliminate roadblocks.
  • Repetitively bends, stoops, and squats; stands for prolonged periods.
  • Lifts up to 50 pounds.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
  • High School diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills; communicates in a professional manner across multiple departments and media with changing priorities.
  • Self‑motivated and maintains a productive environment by bringing everyone’s ideas forward for the benefit of the team.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills; manages multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Collaborates effectively with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and procedures.
  • Stays updated on changing customer requirements and industry regulations.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle, ARAMEX, Rulewave, Allyn a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in Shipping and Warehouse practices; pack‑out practices including documentation for international shipments, DOT, LTL, and transport permit regulations.
  • Positive attitude in challenging tasks; works as a team with co‑workers to tackle tasks together.
