Aircraft Parts Specialist

Baker Aviation is seeking an Aviation Parts Specialist.

• Sourcing parts from all available sources, including online marketplaces, OEMs, MROs, other operators, salvage vendors, and exchange program providers.
• Shipping and receiving of all incoming and outgoing parts.
• Inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and traceability.
• Core tracking for returned and exchangeable components.
• Sourcing vendors for overhaul and repair of rotables.
• Establishing and maintaining minimum stock levels for common items.
• Tracking defects and failures to support reliability and compliance.
• Stocking AOG vans and managing their inventory levels.
• Managing exchange pools for wheels, avionics, and other exchangeable parts.
• Parts administration: tags, work orders, inventory lists, and shelf location marking.

You must have verifiable experience in the aviation parts business, we do not have the ability to train you on the items above. We can however familiarize you with our parts and inventory system that we use.

• Basic inventory and computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts
• 5+ years of aviation experience
• 3+ years of parts/inventory experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Primarily weekdays during normal business hours. We are a part 135 on demand operator and we fly 7 days a week so there will be times when an aircraft is down and we need urgent support for sourcing parts.

• $30 per hour
