What You Will Be Doing
The Subcontract Management, Staff leader is responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or as a Buyer
- Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Department of War (DOW) contracts or TINA
- Price Analysis and Negotiations Experience
- Risk Analysis and Mitigation Experience
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with 4 years of experience in supply chain related field
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontracts of various types for a Defense Contractor
- Advanced skillset navigating SAP; to include extensive FAR 15, TINA, and FAR 12 Experience
- Undefinitized Contract Negotiation and Execution
- Executive level Presentation Skills
- Root Cause Corrective Action Experience (RCCA)
- Department of War Procurement Lifecycle Knowledge
- Extensive Cross Organizational Communication Experience
- Purchase Order Folder documentation experience
- Purchase Order Folder Peer Reviewer

Remote Work PolicyPart-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
