The Planner plays a key role on the Customer Focus Team (CFT) at the Business Unit (BU) level. This role is responsible for managing inventory levels, adhering to demand management processes, and ensuring material alignment to support forecasted revenue and manufacturing plans. The Planner collaborates closely with the BU Supply Chain Director, BU Planning Manager, CFT, and Buyers to meet customer needs and internal supply chain metrics.
Duties & Responsibilities- Perform Bill of Material (BOM) reviews as part of the Quote of Award (QoA) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
- Manage all demand‑management related additions and changes in the ERP system.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate PPV/CPV approval with customers.
- Review requisition releases and take actions to support material purchases.
- Conduct clear‑to‑build analysis and report material availability by project, including identifying the last part in-house.
- Identify priorities for Buyer actions regarding material plan execution and expedites.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional and global teams as needed.
- Support resolution of MRB (Material Review Board) material issues.
- Maintain target customer inventory levels, turns, projections, and inventory optimization.
- Review and manage strategic material plans such as Plan for Every Part and safety stock.
- Drive adherence to customer MSA requirements related to E&O, inventory turns, and PPV recovery.
- Determine and manage implementation dates and material‑cost impacts for ECOs, part/project end‑of‑life, and last‑time‑buy decisions.
- Support execution of End‑of‑Life (EOL) programs, including transfers, project completion, disengagement, and disposition of excess or obsolete material.
- Communicate order commits and supplier order status to Program Management, highlighting shortages and delays.
- Manage What‑If scenarios and MRP demand‑date planning, including forecast and waterfall analysis when applicable.
- Create or direct the creation of work orders once clear to build.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics, commerce, operations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of supply chain experience.
- Proficient English business communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and related software.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel with V‑lookups, filters, pivot tables).
- ERP system experience in supply‑chain planning, inventory control, and purchasing.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Self‑motivated team player, able to work well under pressure.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Analytical problem‑solving skills: define problems, collect data, analyze information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and handle abstract and concrete variables.
- Experience acting as a liaison between procurement, customers, and other departments within a company.

Planning experience within the electronics industry. - Desired:
Experience with Oracle ERP (may substitute another ERP). - Beneficial:
Lean supply‑chain experience, Kinaxis/Rapid Response experience, SIOP process‑management experience.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, self‑motivated team player who works well under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of the organization and key customer contacts.
