Supply Chain - Material Program Sr Manager - MPM Level 6

Overview

Global Supply Chain, Material Program Manager (MPM) in Aeronautics Supply Chain team. The MPM leads the team responsible for ensuring the successful execution of material strategies across cost, quality, schedule, and delivery performance within a specific line of business program office.

• Lead the team that executes material strategies for all aspects of cost, quality, schedule, and delivery performance.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to identify and resolve roadblocks and drive actions to closure with accountability.
• Coordinate with global supply chain teams and Lockheed Martin functions to meet program objectives.
• Ensure program goals are achieved through effective material strategy execution.
• Demonstrate expertise in supply chain management, program management, project management, and leadership skills on classified programs.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or at least 13 years of professional experience in a supply‑chain‑management related field.
• Formal leadership experience.
• Buying experience for DoD customers in accordance with FAR/DFARs.
• Experience with formal project‑management methodologies, systems‑analysis tools, processes, and methods.
• Program‑management experience.
• Experience with Truth and Negotiation Action (TINA) and commercial‐contract FAR guidelines.
• Experience negotiating contracts to closure and providing detailed status updates to C‑suite leaders.
• Experience developing long‑term strategies (e.g., financial planning, team leadership, corrective action, process improvements such as White, Green, or Black Belt).
• Experience working in SAP as well as in supply‑chain systems, tools, and analytics.
• Experience with demand reconciliation.
• Experience managing procurement and/or sourcing teams.
• U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Annual base salary range:

• $144,600 – $255,070 for California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC.
• $166,400 – $288,305 for most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York.

Onsite full‑time.

Schedule:

4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
