Asset Manager - H-1
Bell is seeking an Asset Manager to support the H-1 Program at our Fort Worth, Texas location. The Asset Manager will focus on tactical execution and strategic supply planning for the H1 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract. This individual contributes by driving schedule and priorities for manufacture and repair to meet USMC Fleet readiness and material requirements.
What you will be doing as an Asset Manager - H-1:
- Support execution of H1 PBL contract to provide spare and repair support.
- Expedite supply to support customer requirements through all levels of the supply chain
- Support forecast accuracy by analyzing demand patterns to identify potential supply shortfalls
- Material allocation management
- Excess material identification, root cause analysis, and disposition of excess material
- Track, analyze, and document data to support performance review meetings with internal & external customers
- Manage wholesale inventory to support USMC operations
- Utilize government sponsored, depot level, repair of reparable (ROR) tracking and discrepancy reporting systems, including Commercial Asset Visibility System (CAVS) and Supply Discrepancy Report System (SDRS)
- Report metrics that provide visibility into supply support cost, schedule, and performance objectives
- Contributes to the utilization of earn value management principles and applications to ensure an integrated management system that coordinates work scope, schedule, risk, and cost goals
- Coordination of activities with USG customer, 3PL and Bell Operations to support contract objectives
Qualifications
Skills you bring to this role:
- Bachelor's degree required. Preferred degree in Logistics, Business Management, Supply Chain.
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation logistics, sustainment, or supply chain.
- Knowledge of SAP is required.
- Aviation support, or logistics work experience, Military Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate/Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Team player, supporting cross-functional organization
- Hardworking, action-oriented, and results driven
