Procurement Manager
to lead purchasing and vendor management for a rapidly growing, multi-location Retail organization.
This position will develop procurement strategies, negotiate supplier agreements, improve purchasing processes, and ensure locations have the products, equipment, and services needed to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who combines strong negotiation skills with data‑driven decision‑making and exceptional vendor management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business needs and company growth
- Manage purchasing activities across multiple dealership and service locations
- Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and manage vendors and service providers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, service levels, and volume discounts
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities without sacrificing quality or operational performance
- Establish preferred‑vendor programs and reduce unnecessary purchasing overlap
- Monitor vendor performance, pricing, delivery, quality, and contract compliance
- Partner with Operations, Service, Parts, Finance, IT, Facilities, and leadership to understand purchasing needs
- Support the procurement of equipment, supplies, technology, facility services, and other operational requirements
- Develop purchasing policies, approval processes, and internal controls
- Create reports and dashboards to track spending, savings, vendor performance, and procurement trends
- Support budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate purchasing data and cost projections
- Identify and reduce supply‑chain risks, service interruptions, and unnecessary expenses
- Maintain accurate contracts, vendor records, pricing agreements, and procurement documentation
- Ensure purchasing practices comply with company policies and applicable regulations
- Continuously improve procurement systems, reporting, and processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or vendor management experience
- Experience supporting a multi-location organization strongly preferred
- Experience with in the RV, automotive, dealership, retail, or service industry is a plus
- Proven success negotiating vendor contracts and delivering measurable cost savings
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract administration
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pricing, spending, and vendor performance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, purchasing systems, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, growing organization
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling contracts and confidential business information
