Summary
Description:
The Regional Procurement Operations Manager serves as the primary procurement liaison for regional Operations leadership, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement support while maintaining alignment with enterprise procurement strategies, policies, and supplier management programs. Reporting through the Procurement organization, this role partners closely with Operations to support daily business needs, drive supplier performance, manage local sourcing activities, and identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
The position will be viewed by Operations as a trusted business partner while maintaining strong alignment with Procurement objectives. They will balance service, compliance, cost management, and supplier performance to deliver measurable value to the region and enterprise
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary procurement contact for regional Operations leaders.
- Support day-to-day purchasing, supplier, and sourcing needs across the region.
- Drive adoption of preferred suppliers, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Identify and execute cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve operational issues.
- Partner with Category Managers on sourcing initiatives and contract implementation.
- Analyze spend data and provide recommendations to improve value and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Contract and negotiation expertise.
- Spend analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, or similar platforms.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or other related field
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain or operations support experience
- Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
- Experience managing supplier performance and resolving operational supply needs
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
Travel Requirements:
- Based in assign region with up to 50% travel at times
