Sr. Facilities Technician

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for a Facilities Technician for our plant located in Ft. Worth, TX. The Facilities Technician performs custodial duties in a manufacturing and office environment. Responsibilities may include janitorial, and common area minor maintenance throughout building interiors and/or exteriors.

Must be able to work 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday with weekends as necessary.

• Perform facility repairs and maintenance, such as plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, flooring, hardware, and other related tasks
• Ensure our grounds and facilities are picked up and free from debris and trash at all times
• Operate lawn and yard equipment around our facility as needed
• Operate shop cleaning/sweeping equipment and machinery
• Operate forklifts to relocate trash bins and other items around the facility
• Perform special projects and tasks, as needed
• All other duties as needed and assigned

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Previous experience in residential/commercial construction and/or remodeling is a big plus
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required
• The ability to maintain good attendance
• The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance
• A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal
