Job Summary

Summary:

Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.

* Help secure pipes, valves, hangers, and fittings during assembly or installation.

* Assist experienced pipe fitters with the layout, preparation, and installation of piping systems.

* Assist other skilled trades (e.g., sheet metal, insulation, welding, plumbing) as needed to support project workflow.

* Support the layout and organization of materials on-site and help maneuver completed assemblies into place.

* Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

* Notifies managers about the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license may be required.
