Our client is seeking a hands‐on Construction industry Accounting Manager to oversee and manage all accounting operations. This individual will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while supporting business growth. This is a full‑time,
on‑site position based in Fort Worth, TX
.

Oversee all aspects of project accounting and forecasting

Manage cash flow forecasting and financial reporting

Ensure accuracy of AP (vendor/subcontractor payments) and AR

Process and manage payroll (including prevailing wage)

Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities

Prepare income tax and sales tax (TX) filings

Oversee client interaction
, billing, and collections

Maintain depreciation schedules and support asset management

Track vehicle
, equipment
, and amortization schedules

Experience with
Deltek ERP

Knowledge of Texas sales tax

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables)

Strong understanding of accounting principles and operations

Willingness and ability to grow with the company

Industry experience in professional services or surveying & engineering

Familiarity with civil municipal accounting and invoicing structures
