Description
Position Summary
The Production Director is responsible for leading and executing all technical and production elements of Mercy Culture Church gatherings, events, and media environments. This role ensures excellence, consistency, and spiritual sensitivity across audio, lighting, video, staging, and live production while building, discipling, and developing teams that steward the presence of God with skill and humility.

Primary Responsibilities Production Leadership & Execution- Capture and steward corporate encounters at Mercy Culture
- Oversee all production elements for weekend services, prayer nights, conferences, and special events
- Ensure seamless execution of audio, lighting, video, staging, and livestream environments
- Maintain excellence, consistency, and preparedness across all campuses and venues
- Serve as lead production in planning meetings for services and major events
- Complete tasks/projects as assigned by FW Campus Director and the Campus Operations Executive
- Regular oversights with production staff members
- Build healthy, empowered teams that value excellence, honor, and unity
- Develop team leads within the production department
- Manage production systems, equipment, and infrastructure
- Oversee maintenance, upgrades, inventory, and technical documentation
- Partner with vendors, contractors, and integrators as needed
- Meet with and work with FW Campus director and the Campus operations Executive. Work closely with Worship, Creative, Media, and Operations teams
- Align production execution with Mercy Culture’s values, vision, and leadership standards
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost stewardship for production needs and personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and operational standards
- Support onboarding and training documentation for production roles
- Proven experience leading church production or live event production teams
- Strong working knowledge of audio, lighting, video, and live production systems
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and solution‑oriented in high‑pressure environments
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and event‑based schedules
- Ability to lift and move production equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in low‑light or loud environments
- On‑campus presence required; this is not a remote position
You must be an active and good standing member of the church or willing to become a member of Mercy Culture Church upon hire.
Leadership StandardsAll Mercy Culture & Housed Vision Leaders and Staff must be in agreement with and abiding by the church’s beliefs and Leadership Standards of Mercy Culture Church.
HoursThis position is full-time, exempt, a minimum of 40 hrs. a week. This position is Tuesday – Friday with Sunday responsibilities. This position requires flexibility to support church events and conferences.
