Senior Project Manager
- Data Center (Design and Construction) – Fort Worth, Texas
PMA is a national real estate advisory firm providing consulting services as the owner's representative, including development management, project management, program management and investor representation. PMA is headquartered in Chicago with offices across the United States and works with a diverse range of clients on sophisticated real estate needs and challenges.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Austin office to work on Technology and mission-critical projects and to contribute to professional growth through mentorship and training. This role emphasizes collaboration, client leadership, and delivering complex real estate projects across the country.
Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will act as the primary interface with PMA clients and lead the client and project team through strategic real estate planning, design and construction of new buildings, tenant improvements, and facilities assignments.
Responsibilities include:
- You have 8+ years of development and project management experience, with at least five years focused on Technology, Mission Critical, or Life Sciences projects.
- You have experience as an Owner’s Representative or Project Manager representing fiduciary interests of the real estate developer or investor.
- You are skilled at managing project teams through all phases of development and construction.
- You have led master planning, budgeting, pre-construction, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction/transition planning to build/project activation.
- You are knowledgeable regarding project pro forma development budgets, operations, cash flows, and financial metrics (return on cost, IRR, etc.).
- You demonstrate the ability to manage successful projects and consistently meet or exceed client expectations and deadlines.
- You thoroughly understand project controls, project management, construction documentation, and sequencing.
- You have working knowledge of alternate materials/methods, construction costs, value engineering, and building/occupancy laws and lease requirements.
- You possess strong organizational, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- You exercise discretion with confidential information and develop long-term client relationships with development, design, and construction professionals.
