Job Title: WFD Program Supervisor – Opportunity Accelerator
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas -- 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119
Salary: Based on Experience
Work Hours: Full Time, Exempt. Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am start time

General
Job Duties:
Supervises and monitors assigned staff within the Opportunity Accelerator (OA) program to ensure that all program enrollment, case management, assessment/training, placement, and retention goals are met each month. Document staff performance issues immediately as they occur; notify and provide copies of documentation to the Program Manager before any formal corrective action is taken. Submit and/or enter staff training and performance documentation into Ulti Pro and to Human Resources as they occur.
Meet with staff and review outreach site schedules and plans, to ensure that staff is completing their assignments and site visits as scheduled. Maintains confidentiality with information such as case notes, client, and staff information. Submit monthly reports to the Program Manager to include outcomes goals and grant deliverables.
Meet with Program Manager weekly to discuss status of program goals, outcomes, and staff performance issues. Make decisions regarding program needs, suggested processes and/or procedures changes and discuss with the Program Manager. Evaluates available resources to ensure that opportunities are of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectively.
Network with community agencies/partners to increase the awareness of our services, training, certification and WFD program services throughout our service areas. Develop partnerships in surrounding GWNCT service area, to increase and expand currents programs. Be flexible to provide work relief at various Job Resource Centers and outreach locations to perform duties of absent staff during scheduled leaves or absences. Work closely with the Compliance program to ensure WFD files comply and/or corrected by given corrected action date.
Complete the required number of continuing education and training courses assigned each year.
Ensure that a system is in place to track program outcomes and activities at each worksite. Travel to each WFD Job Resource Centers as needed to train/monitor staff activities. Work with staff to ensure that job fairs are scheduled, organized, and conducted for the WFD program each month.
Participates in Workforce Development staff meeting each week and conducts staff meetings with WFD team monthly or as often as needed. Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, program, and/or mission.
Skills/
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree or in process, a plus. Prior supervisory experience in the workforce development industry strongly desired. Experience working with people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged. Experience in job development for individuals with multiple barriers to employment. Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members.
Proficient in standard computer operation systems and relevant software to perform the requirements of the position. Bilingual a plus.
Physical Requirements: Due to established performance factors/goals, this position must be able to work at a fast pace to achieve outcomes. The incumbent may be in an office environment for approximately 50% of the time with the remaining time working with clients and attending outside community functions/meetings related to the job responsibilities. It is to be noted that the incumbent must be able to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.,
in the process of performing their job function and be able to provide own transportation to off-site. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology.
Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9, and ability to pass drug screen and background check. Must meet staff qualifications by Texas Workforce Commission Rehabilitation Services.
