Barron Facility Services (BFS) is hiring a Cap Ex Project Manager to lead national capital improvement projects across multi-site portfolios throughout the U.S.

As a Cap Ex Construction Project Manager, you will manage a high volume of active projects across multiple states, ensuring projects are executed on time, on budget, and in compliance with applicable standards.

• Manage national Cap Ex programs such as:
• ADA compliance projects
• Renovations / refresh programs
• Rebranding rollouts
• Facility upgrades and modernization
• 40-year recertifications / lifecycle compliance work (where applicable)
• Scope, estimate, schedule, and execute projects across large facility portfolios
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Maintain project documentation: budgets, schedules, proposals, change orders, and closeout packages
• Manage multiple trades and simultaneous work streams with tight client timelines
• Ensure strong field execution and quality control with consistent reporting and visibility
• Travel as required for site walks, kickoff meetings, and critical project milestones

We’re looking for a self-starter with national Cap Ex construction experience who understands how to operate with urgency and professionalism across large portfolios.

• 5+ years of Cap Ex / construction project management experience within a national facilities or multi-site environment
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (often in different regions of the country)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, procurement, estimating, and project controls
• Ability to lead vendors and trades to performance standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (must be client-ready)
• High attention to detail, documentation discipline, and follow-through

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering
  , or related discipline
• (or equivalent field experience that demonstrates capability)
• Experience supporting national retail, childcare, convenience store, QSR, or commercial portfolios
• Familiarity with compliance-driven projects (ADA, inspections, municipal requirements, recertifications)
