Unit Director, Evs 2Nd Shift

As Unit Director, you will plan, organize, and control departmental functions and activities.

• Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor work flow and quality to ensure timely completion and adherence to facility standards and regulations using computerized preventive and corrective maintenance, construction, financial, and energy‑control programs.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including the utilities energy‑savings program.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other agencies.
• Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff.
• Maintain effective client relationships.
• Monitor work performance and prepare personnel evaluations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in hospital engineering maintenance at Director or Assistant Director level.
• Experience in hospital project and construction management.
• Working knowledge of the Joint Commission, NFPA, and other healthcare regulatory agencies.
