Job Summary

Registered Team Manager – Consumer Investments Client Services (Bank of America)
The role leads Senior Investment Specialists and Financial Service Representatives across multiple sites, delivering exceptional service to over 1.4M clients.

Responsibilities
  • Coach, motivate and supervise the team to grow client relationships by understanding client needs and presenting solutions from Consumer Investment Client Services, Merrill and Bank of America.
  • Resolve all elevated client issues, ensuring a positive experience and teaching client ownership by example.
  • Develop team members through side‑by‑side coaching, relationship building, call reviews, and consistent mentoring.
  • Manage the daily operation of the team, including efficiency, productivity, and ensuring availability for clients.
  • Maintain strong focus on compliance and regulatory standards by actively managing risk—reviewing sales practices, trades, communication and all team activities.
  • Earn Series7, 66 and 9/10 (or equivalent) within 120 days of hire.
  • Participate in foundational management training, leadership rotations and in‑depth role‑specific training as needed.
  • Promote a client‑centric team environment, drive effective sales and service strategy, and manage risk.
  • Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders to achieve goals and manage performance.
Qualifications
  • Series7, 66 and 9/10 required.
  • Strong understanding of investment products and ability to assist associates and clients with their financial needs.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with teammates and deliver world‑class client experience.
  • Analytical and highly organized—able to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours as required by business needs.
  • Experience in coaching, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Demonstrated risk management ability and sound judgment for business decisions.
  • Knowledge of Consumer Investments and Merrill systems and clients is a plus.
