Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Subcontract Manager.

This Program Management / Subcontract Manager role is in the Integrated Systems & Partnership Supply Chain organization. The selected individual will oversee and manage F-35 Major Systems & Equipment Subcontractor accounts. Duties include managing subordinate teams that oversee subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs; directing and managing all cost, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements;

developing sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans; acting as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office; and managing all phases of the subcontract from initiation through requests for proposals, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution. The role requires making decisions affecting subcontractor performance, establishing milestone objectives, managing performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications, and leading a team of engineers, quality and procurement staff.

This position requires a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance after hire. Clearance Level: Secret.

This position is located in Fort Worth, TX.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experienced supply chain management professional who has led complex subcontract / PO negotiations and solved complex issues associated with subcontract execution.
• Experience collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas.
• Experience leading teams or projects and mentoring peers & subordinates on procuring and managing subcontracts.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
• Travel to the supply base, up to 10% travel.

• Strategic thinker with regard to procurement process and state of F-35 program, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Experience in Major Systems & Equipment subcontract management.
• Experience in Proposal and Capture activities.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARs and DoD procurement policies and practices.
• Professional communicator and team leader.
• Advanced Project management experience for complex project planning.
• Create solutions for complex procurement challenges and present them to senior management and customers.

Ability to work remotely:
Onsite Full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week; may be condensed for additional flexibility.
