Senior Superintendent – Overview
Senior Superintendent to lead and manage construction projects, focusing on schedule, cost control, quality, safety, and lean construction practices.
Responsibilities- Guide the professional development of Superintendents and lead Lean Construction Practices.
- Support integrated delivery, participate in recruiting field supervision.
- Participate in monthly financial plan forecasting with the lead Project Manager.
- Contribute to negotiation with subcontractors and market Beck’s integration model.
- Manage strengths and weaknesses of the project team, maximizing performance and efficiency.
- Lead the planning and execution of construction projects, overseeing plans, schedules, and ensuring timely, on‑budget delivery.
- Supervise construction teams, delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure proper training for safe work.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues, ensuring compliance with Beck’s Quality Assurance Program and safety regulations.
- Manage the project budget, estimate costs, track expenses, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Identify and address problems, making decisions on changes to scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Serve as Project Lean Champion, develop and deliver superintendent training, promote team health, and mentor for career growth.
- Assist in project pursuits, review scopes of work, and lead the close‑out process including punch list and warranty walks.
- 15+ years of field coordination or relevant commercial construction experience.
- College graduate with a relevant degree.
- Experience with Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, Revit or comparable construction technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
