Project Manager – Commercial Construction

As the Project Manager you are responsible for project financials, schedule, risk management, quality, and client relationships. You supervise the project team and maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, and others to ensure safe, economical, and expeditious execution. You will lead projects ranging from $10‑$50 million in scope or larger portions of larger projects.

• Support the preconstruction effort including assembling bid packages, directing pre‑bid meetings, detailed bid analysis, award, and contract negotiation assistance.
• Identify and lead cost‑saving efforts through value engineering.
• Assemble accurate general‑condition estimates and maintain GC budgets throughout construction.
• Ensure that construction, subcontracts, and purchase orders comply with the Contract Documents.
• Understand breaches of contract and enforce appropriate actions.
• Analyze change‑order requests, determine validity, and negotiate agreements between owner and subcontractors.
• Mentor, train, and supervise direct reports including Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers, delegating effectively.
• Accurately forecast project costs and report to leadership monthly.
• Oversee project schedule creation and maintenance, assist superintendents, and ensure projects are completed on time.

• 8+ years of relevant commercial construction experience, Mission Critical or High‑End Hospitality.
• Knowledge of local market, city regulatory requirements, and procedures (preferred).
• Completed one or more projects as Project Leader with responsibility for financial, completion, and schedule outcomes.
• Experience as part of a larger project team supporting a team leader on project management duties.
• Understanding of pre‑project planning impact on delivery.
• College graduate with a relevant degree.
• Experience using Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is a plus.
• Estimator experience is a plus.

Frequent computer use; frequent ladder and stair movement; work in various outdoor weather conditions; lifting equipment up to 50lbs; constant communication with subcontractors, vendors, and team members; ability to move around uneven surfaces; standing for extended periods; consistent attendance required.
