Senior Project Manager (Mechanical Construction)
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while meeting all quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and maintained.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts, including billing and invoicing processes.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise.
- Prepare reports and documentation for project milestones, financials, and resource allocation.
- Mentor and lead junior project staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical project management in commercial construction, healthcare, or data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal systems.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with varying complexities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with financial management, billing, and invoicing processes in construction projects.
