Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 10 years relevant professional experience in contracts, business management, program management, finance, supply chain, legal, or a related field. Prior experience as a team lead, manager, organization lead, or similar role demonstrating the ability to guide staff, prioritize work, and support team performance. Experience supporting or leading proposal preparation, proposal submittals, contract negotiations, contract awards, and post-award contract administration for U.S. Government, aerospace/defense, or commercial contracting efforts.
Experience with FAR, DFARS, government contracting principles, and common contract types, including Fixed Price, Cost-Reimbursement, Incentive-type, Award Fee, and Time & Materials contracts. Experience reviewing, interpreting, or negotiating contract Terms & Conditions, including the ability to identify business, financial, performance, and compliance risks. Experience communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including program management, finance, legal, supply chain, contracts leadership, customers, and industry partners.
7. U.S. Citizenship is required. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.

As a Contracts Manager, you will play a key leadership role supporting a growing portfolio of programs and customers.
This position is responsible for leading contracts activities and guiding a team to deliver timely, high-impact results that support business objectives and customer needs. You will partner across program, business, and customer teams to ensure effective contract execution, compliance, and strategic support throughout the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contracts activities in support of Skunk Works programs and customer requirements
- Manage and develop contracts staff to ensure timely and impactful results
- Support a growing portfolio of programs across the Skunk Works Line of Business
- Partner with program leadership and cross-functional teams to support business objectives and mission success
- Provide strategic contracts guidance throughout the program lifecycle
- Ensure contract execution aligns with customer requirements, corporate objectives, and compliance standards
- Foster collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to support program performance and customer satisfaction
1. Demonstrated experience leading the full contract lifecycle, including capture support, proposal strategy, negotiations, award, execution, change management, and closeout.
2. Ability to develop and execute contract strategies that align customer requirements, program execution, financial objectives, and enterprise risk posture.
3. Advanced understanding of contract types, fee structures, cost/price principles, funding, cash flow, and how contract terms affect financial and program performance.
4. Experience leading customer negotiations, contractual correspondence, Terms & Conditions reviews, issue resolution, and internal approval packages.
5. Knowledge of U.S. Government intellectual property, technical data rights, proprietary information protections, and data rights assertion practices.
6. Experience presenting to senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders on contract strategy, negotiation posture, risk exposure, financial impacts, and program execution matters.
7. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop contracts professionals while creating a culture of excellence, accountability, compliance, collaboration, sound judgment, and continuous improvement.
8. Familiarity with complex aerospace and defense contracting environments, including classified programs, development programs, production/sustainment efforts, UCAs, change proposals, equitable adjustments, or complex customer-directed change activity.
9. Ability to brief leadership, summarize complex contractual issues, recommend positions, and support sound business decision-making.
