District Manager (Multi-unit, Retail) – Dallas / Fort Worth area
Qualified applicants can earn: $70,000 to $110,000 per year.
Position SummaryOur District Managers are responsible for developing, coaching and leading a team of Store Managers who can successfully execute all company initiatives while ensuring that all financial results meet or exceed plan. The District Manager facilitates communication between the Regional Manager and the Store Managers and vice versa, ensuring consistency of messages across the district. This position champions and facilitates the execution of all new company initiatives.
This is a non-exempt position with the potential to earn a bonus based on district performance.

During training, responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following representative duties. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Directly supervise six to eight Store Managers and coach them to motivate and support their teams.
- Develop business partner relationships with the Regional Manager, HR Business Partner and Corporate personnel.
- Develop and build leadership talent across the District in partnership with HR and Learning & Development.
- Recruit proactively to improve overall district talent.
- Ensure proper execution of new company initiatives and policies.
- Review district and store performance reports and coach Store Managers to address trends or opportunities.
- Maintain strong financial results through customer service and operational fundamentals.
- Balance monitoring with onsite coaching; spend a minimum of 90% of work time visiting stores; travel between locations as needed.
- Identify growth opportunities and communicate findings to the Regional Manager, including potential store startups and acquisitions.
- Provide feedback on programs and share best practices within the District.
- Empower Store Managers to make decisions within company/district strategies and policies.
- Manage district staffing and reallocate personnel to improve performance.
- Build goodwill and relationships within communities we serve.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently between stores.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform duties that require standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting for extended periods.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified, including being the "Responsible Party" at FFL locations.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports; quantitative aptitude and budgeting experience.
- Desire and ability to coach and develop others; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Minimum 18 years of age;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
The District Manager bonus/incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
