You’llbring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today’s challenges and set the foundation for future success. As a Managing Director at Cross Country Consulting, you willbe responsible forclient delivery, business development, leading teams, and developing junior team members, as well as serving as a member of Cross Country’s leadership team.
You’ll Do Client Delivery:
Lead the development and delivery of services in the following areas
- Serve as the primary relationship managerfor3–5+Private Equity sponsors, owning origination, expansion, and account strategy across SaaS portfolio companies
- AdviseCFOs and CEOs on FP&A operating cadence, capital efficiency, and board-level narratives across growth, retention, and cash
- Standardize SaaS-native KPIs and modeling frameworks,including ARR waterfalls, net/gross retention, CAC payback, LTV/CAC, and NRR bridges
- Implement driver-based planning and rolling forecasts tied to bookings, headcount, capacity, andproducteconomics
- Oversee development of board-ready reporting packages and 13-week cash flow forecasts
- Guide clients on pragmatic sequencing of systems and tooling including Adaptive, Anaplan, Workday, Net Suite, Intacct, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI
- Further codify and institutionalize SaaS FP&A playbooks and cohort economics across engagements
Serve as a key leader in the Practice Equitypractice by:
- Oversee multiple concurrent delivery teams, ensuring quality assurance, risk mitigation, and target margin performance
- Embed firm-approved AI tools to accelerate diagnostics, variance analysis, and narrative generationin accordance withdata protection and IP policies
- Stay informed about emerging AI techniques and collaborate with firm leadership toidentifycompliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes
- Recruit, coach, and promote top talent
- Mentor team members by providing ongoing feedback, resolving multi-faceted issues, and supporting career progression
- Publish insights, speak at PE portfolio forums, and lead benchmarking initiatives that drive market visibility
- Create new service offerings and delivery methodologies aligned to sponsor needs
Own personal origination andsalestargets; steward pipeline and contribute to firm growth
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS FP&A with Private Equity-backed exposure and board-level engagement
- Proven track record owning annual origination and expansion targets
- Mastery of SaaSKPIsand CFO operating cadence
- Experience leading multi-workstream programs across several portfolio companies simultaneously
- Executive communication skills with ability to deliver crisp, data-driven materials to C-suite and boards
