As a Career Galvanizer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that your team's daily work assignments are completed accurately on time and in a safe manner. You will be expected to be proactive in identifying and solving problems, and act with the utmost levels of integrity and safety.
Location:
Ft. Worth, TX
Starting rate $19.00 per hour! Plus night premium
Full-time: M-F, 3pm to 1:30am
What you will do:
- Procure and position various "below the hook holding devices", pallets, boxes, pins, wires, chains, blocking etc., for loading and unloading.
- Performs general labor work as required. Piles and stores materials, products, components, pallets, skids, holding devices, etc., as required in and about the Galvanizing plant in accordance with safety regulations.
- Check tools and equipment in observance of safety regulations. General housekeeping of work area.
- Hang parts, stack and unstack;
Familiar with Quality Control;
Cleans and prepares surfaces with water and/or hazardous chemicals; certified to operate overhead crane; maintains equipment and work environment; determines preparedness of material for coating;
Works under supervision.
- Work requires an understanding of the galvanizing process, knowledge, and ability to operate all equipment in that area.
- Safely and efficiently performs all essential functions.
- Ability to function as a team member and to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
