Overview
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure peak performance, safety, and reliability.
Base pay range$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr
This range is provided by Ellaway Blues Consulting. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues involving electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.
- Maintain hydraulic fluid levels and replace filters as needed or per preventive maintenance schedules.
- Grease and service machinery in line with maintenance instructions.
- Repair mechanical issues, including hydraulic, air, or water leaks, in a timely and effective manner.
- Inspect and maintain safety devices on all equipment as part of preventive maintenance.
- Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures before performing equipment work.
- Complete emergency repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Enter, read, and close out work orders accurately.
- Conduct forklift maintenance inspections and maintain checklist documentation.
- Participate in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school, or a minimum of 1 year related maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, proportions).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and apply torque up to 180 lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime during the week or on weekends as needed.
