Seeking an experienced Inspector Senior responsible for inspecting semi‑complex components using calibrated tools and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and military standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform component, assembly, first article, envelope, and surface plate inspections
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, ANSI Y14.5 GD&T, and technical specifications
- Determine product acceptance/rejection and document findings
- Maintain accurate inspection, certification, and calibration records
- Verify calibration of tools and equipment
- Investigate customer returns and support source inspections
- Assist during internal and external audits
- High School Diploma + 3–5 years inspection/calibration experience
- Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills (including trigonometry)
- Experience with CMM preferred
- Knowledge of military standards required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
