Job SummaryCapable of efficiently performing and monitoring all tool and equipment inspections, maintenance and issuance from small hand tools to large equipment, for the day to day functions of a major fabrication / assembly plant.
Essential FunctionsMaintain all tool crib and shadow-board tools.

- Safely disassemble any and all tools used in the normal functions for above described positions.
- Perform any all normal maintenance procedure for the upkeep of such tools.
- Monitor timely delivery and installation of replacement components.
- Replacement of normal tool consumables such as; brushes, armatures, cords, chucks, housings, cylinders, etc., through soldering, crimps, brazing, etc., as necessary.
Understand, follow and maintain all O&M requirements for maintenance protocols on large equipment, per monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual basis as required. Can consist of but not limited to:
- Hydra Mech bandsaw
- Piranha shear/press
- Victaulic groove roller
- Bridge and gantry cranes
- Wilton drill press
- Bench grinders
- Forklifts
- Plasma/torch cutters
- Straps/chains/hoists/shackles
- Ladders/extension cords
- Welding machines
- Air compressors
- Blast/paint booth equipment

SOP and any other written or verbal protocols for future reference.
Complete daily tool inventory.
Knowledgeable of operating overhead cranes and or forklifts, while adhering to industry standards.
Accountability for completion of daily work assignments while monitoring quality, safety and health regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed inside and outside with uncontrolled weather conditions.
