Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer
Bio‑Rad is looking for a Production Manager I to supervise the Lineside/Warehousing Department and oversee a production team that distributes chemical raw materials used to produce liquid reagent products. This position plans and assigns work to direct labor personnel, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions within established delivery, quality, compliance, safety, budget and cost standards.

- Communicates effectively across organizational levels and functions.
- Works under broad general direction with significant autonomy.
- Independently determines and develops approach to production strategy, problem solving and execution of production plans.
- Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
- Manages a staff of production supervisors leading direct labor personnel including assemblers, technicians, chemical process operators and/or chemists.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
- 10+ years manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8-10 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Familiarity with SAP and other manufacturing materials systems.
- Solid and effective communication skills.
- PC skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, database software, internet software, manufacturing software).
- Knowledge of and experience with chemical, instrument or facility production processes, and process equipment.
This position must be based in Fort Worth, Texas and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

CompensationThe estimated base salary range for this position is $104,000 - $143,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
