CNC Precision Parts Press Brake Technician

Job Description

Our client is a fast paced, metal fabrication shop. They are a leading manufacturer of precision machined metal parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Program, operate, and set-up CNC Press Brakes, including programming of machines, loading of parts, operating controls, and inspecting parts for conformance to company and customer specifications, policies and procedures.
• Assist with design of fixtures.
• Quote new and existing parts.
• Responsible for managing tooling and ordering new tooling as needed for jobs.
• Review CNC programs, inserts and tooling to minimize machining cycle times, reduce tooling costs and eliminate production problems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in a machine shop
• Previous programming experience
• Must have strong command of blueprint reading.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

This is an Employer Paid Fee Position
