This position is a support role for SCM's mulch and soil bagging operation. This position will require you to be in good physical condition and able to lift, stack, and manipulate 40-60lb bags of product throughout the day. This is a full-time position throughout the year. However, spring and fall are the busiest times of the year for sales/production of this product.

During the slower parts of the season Bagging Support Laborers may be requested to perform other tasks and duties at Silver Creek Materials. This may include off‑loading of trucks in the liquid’s destruction area, or offloading organic solids bound for the composting operation. Other duties may include clean‑up projects, organization, grounds‑keeping, and pressure washing for example.

• Safely operate bagging machines and sealers
• Stack bags of product onto pallets
• Operate pallet wrapper
• Maintain cleanliness of bagging facility
• Perform daily maintenance tasks and checks

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Physical fitness to perform job duties
• Reliable transportation
• Punctuality and good attendance
• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Must be 18 years or older
• Compliance with background check and drug screening
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication skills
• Compliance with safety regulations outlined by OSHA
