Machine Operator- Night Shift

We are currently looking for Finishing Production Operators to join our team. The Finishing Machine Operator checks quality and finishes labels through jogging or cutting.

• Continuously check for print and seam quality.
• Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilize a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedures.
• Handle rolls and palletize them to avoid damage.
• Understand basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in the company operation system (Globetek).
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform basic arithmetic to calculate label counts and conversions.
• Use units of American money, weight, volume, and distance in calculations.
• Use simple Windows-based applications.
• Meet physical demands: standing, using hands to finger, feel, and touch; reaching with arms and hands; talking and hearing.
• Walk frequently.
• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Meet vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

• Compensation: $19.00 to $22.00 hourly based on experience.
• Shifts:
  
  7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
