Job Title:
CNC Mill Machinist
The CNC Mill Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating 3 Axis Mills, optimizing setup times, and maximizing machine utilization. The role requires a keen understanding of task specifications through reading blueprints and route instructions, utilizing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC equipment to complete full cycles for high and low volume production.
- Optimize setup times and maximize machine utilization.
- Understand specifications of tasks by reading blueprints and route instructions.
- Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain offsets and inspect parts with high precision.
- Follow in-process part inspection processes and notify the Supervisor/Lead about any non-conformance.
- Communicate with managers, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve quality issues.
- 5+ years of experience operating CNC Mill machines in a manufacturing environment, including performing setups.
- Experience with G Code and micrometer usage.
- Understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prefer experience with brands such as Brother, Doosan, Takumi, Siemens, though not required.
- Experience with calipers and gauge programming.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
