MAZAK Laser Operator – Day Shift

is seeking an experienced
MAZAK Laser Operator
to set up, operate, and maintain MAZAK laser cutting machines to produce high-precision metal components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.

• Full-time position

• Day Shift

• Monday – Friday 6am to 2:30pm

• $22/hour starting pay

• Weekly Pay

• Set up and operate MAZAK laser cutting machines

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and CAD drawings

• Select correct programs, tooling, and materials

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools
  (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)

• Maintain accurate production and quality records

• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean

• Follow all safety and quality standards

• Work closely with supervisors, programmers, and quality teams

• 2+ years of experience operating MAZAK laser machines
  (2D or 3D)

• Experience cutting steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

• Ability to read blueprints and measure tolerances accurately

• Basic knowledge of laser parameters (speed, power, focus)

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to
  50 lbs
