Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Scan and sort small packages for shipping by UPS and Fed Ex.
- Unload cartons from the sorter lane and verify the indicated shipment mode is correct for the assigned pallet.
- Ship customer orders to ensure on-time delivery using the correct carrier mode.
- Preparation orders for shipment in a customer-friendly manner. This may include the accurate checking of each carton and the packing of material into boxes, containers and pallets assuring the appropriate protection of our products are used to assure they are received by our customers according to our standards of care meeting our product and customer requirements.
- The accurate, fast-paced, picking of customer orders assuring the correct item, lot number, and quantity are assembled to meet the customer order requirements.
- Maintenance of work areas in a neat, clean, and orderly manner to assure the safety of self and other colleagues.
- Coordinate special projects.
- Picking cold-chain orders in a refrigerated temperature environment of 36°F to 46°F.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to complete daily business volume – Approximately 2.5 hours a week.
- Work closely and effectively with other Team members, Coordinators, Manager, and drivers.
- Assist other team members to balance the workload and provide consistent productivity.
- Ability to follow departments SOP's.
- Active participation in Safety and EHS programs.
Physical Demands:
Physical requirements may include:
- Regularly required to stand, bend, reach and move about the facility.
- Frequent lifting of boxes, cases and cartons.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

- Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Experience:
Prefer at least two years related experience. Experience with SAP is a plus. - Computer
Skills:
Should be PC literate. Nice if proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. - Certificates, Licenses or Registrations:
Nice to have – Fork‑lift certification. - Language
Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills. - Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed. Must maintain a good attendance record.
