Job Overview
The role is responsible for performing labeling, shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations for raw materials and components used in commercial production. The position requires work at both the Fort Worth production site and the company’s contracted warehouse in a controlled, non-classified environment. All tasks must be performed in accordance with cGMP regulations and SOPs.
Responsibilities- Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring they match purchase orders, and process receipt transactions.
- Document cGMP material receipts per SOP, perform receiving inspection, quarantine as necessary.
- Handle material movement including sampling and labeling raw materials.
- Manage Kanban stations to maintain consistent material flow.
- Sample and dispense raw materials per material specification and sampling SOP, using scales and fume hood.
- Maintain equipment and supply levels in the dispense area, ensuring aseptic environment.
- Clean and sterilize materials and components used during weighing and dispensing.
- Label materials and transfer them to appropriate storage areas.
- Monitor gowning levels for the cleanroom.
- Generate and complete pick lists and kit materials according to pick list or MRTF, executing required ERP transactions.
- Perform physical tasks for receipt, shipping, and storage of raw materials, finished products, in-process materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate material and product transfer requirements directly with manufacturing personnel.
- Document accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.
- Maintain segregation, security, labeling, and storage conditions for all inventory materials.
- Conduct routine cycle counts, physical counts, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Operate material handling equipment to facilitate efficient movement.
- Ship and distribute products to customers or other sites as needed.
- Generate shipping documents such as BOL and hazardous materials declarations.
- Prepare temperature-sensitive shipments in accordance with SOPs.
- Maintain 5S compliance within the workspace.
- Assist with Quality Management System records, including deviations and change controls.
- Perform other duties as directed by leadership to meet business objectives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 3 years experience in a supply chain (multi-site distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations) within a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceutical/life-science manufacturing.
- Experience with inventory management, manufacturing, and/or supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Excel, and Word.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of GMP operations and requirements.
- Computer literacy, proficiency with ERP inventory transactions.
Median physical demands. Travel to offsite warehouse < 50% of time.
