Job Description:
Pride Staff is partnering with a local distinguished manufacturing and precision machining facility who is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join their team. The CNC Lathe Operator brings solid previous experience to the shop floor with the ability to set up, run, print, program, and produce customized parts for customers. The ideal CNC Lathe Operator has 5+ years of CNC Lathe Operator experience, coupled with the ability to set up, program, print, and run machines independently with little or no supervision.
The CNC Lathe Operator is a full-time, temp to hire position in Fort Worth, TX. CNC Lathe Operator
Job Responsibilities:
Set up CNC Lathe Machines Including Chucks, Collets, Tooling, & Workholding Without Assistance Read & Interpret Engineering Drawings, Blueprints, Specifications, & GD&T to Determine Machining Sequences Program Machines For Production Including Editing G-Code & M-Code at The Controls on Fanuc, Haas & Mazatrol Machines Machine Parts to Correct Size With Tight Tolerances Across a Variety of Materials Including Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium, & Exotic Alloys Perform in Process Inspections Using Precision Measurement Tools Such as Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gauges, & Comparators Identify & Resolve Tooling Wear, Chatter, or Machine Alarms Independently to Keep Production Running Smoothly Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines CNC Lathe Operator
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or Equivalent Required 5+ Years of CNC Lathe Set up & Machine Operator Experience Required Must Have Advanced Industrial Math Skills & Fluency in Reading Complex Blueprints & GD&T Solid Understanding of Feeds, Speeds, Tooling Selection, & Insert Geometry Must Demonstrate a Track Record of Creating a Product From Raw Materials to a Finished Masterpiece Must be Able to Work Independently & Occasionally With a Team Exhibits Superb Time Management & Organizational Skills With a High Degree of Accuracy
