You will be the Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2 for the Manufacturing Engineering team which is responsible for improving sub‑assembly build processes and driving cost‑effective, high‑quality production for F‑35 components.
What You Will Be Doing- Support production operations by refining sub‑assembly processes, eliminating repetitive defects, and reducing unnecessary costs.
- Develop and modify manufacturing plans, interpreting engineering blueprints to support both production and prototype articles.
- Investigate and resolve non‑conformances through root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
- Optimize machining strategies for CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components efficiently.
- Collaborate with quality, production, tooling, and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions and boost overall efficiency.

Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications- Experience with F-16 Manufacturing / Assembly/ Production processes.
- Experience with gauge‑controlled tooling concepts.
- Experience reading and interpreting drawing requirements.
- Experience supporting International Co‑Production.
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing and/or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college.
- Manufacturing Engineering experience with fabrication and assembly in a production environment.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills to drive issues to closure, develop workaround plans, and/or corrective action plans.
- Excellent verbal/written communications skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment or independently to solve problems in a timely manner.
- Microsoft Office suite experience with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
