Position: Aircraft Mechanic-Fort Worth, TX- $36-$45 Per Hour

Overview

Nickerson Talent Solutions is searching for Helicopter Mechanics/Technicians for a Contract to Direct Hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. Pay rate: $36.00-$45.00 per hour (depending on experience). 3-6 Month Contract to Direct Hire. No Tools Required. Overtime:
Time and a Half.

Base pay range

$36.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • 6 Openings Available for Helicopter Mechanic
  • Perform helicopter maintenance on models such as Airbus, Agusta, Bell, MD, or Sikorsky
  • Read and interpret aviation maintenance manuals; use test equipment for tracking and balance; perform rotor tracking and balancing adjustments
  • Interpret Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for helicopter applicability
  • Interpret schematics/blueprints, read measuring instruments (dial calipers, micrometers, borescopes, etc.), and troubleshoot engine parameters (oil pressure, Ng, temperature)
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabricate/assemble parts
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, form, and finish sheet metal and other components
  • Install and test avionics and electrical systems; ensure proper operation before return to service
  • Work with navigation/communication systems, autopilot, GPS, RVSM, hydraulics, and flight controls as applicable
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of helicopter mechanic experience (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of blueprint reading, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Familiarity with aviation maintenance manuals
  • Experience with test equipment and diagnostics related to rotor systems and avionics
  • Reading and interpreting Airworthiness Directives and related service information
