OverviewUS Conec is seeking a detail-oriented Kitting/Assembly Product Handler Lead to oversee workers engaged in maintaining the product flow throughout the Assembly department by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities- Establishes or adjusts work procedures and assignments to meet product schedules.
- Approves and oversees workers schedule assigned to the department.
- Tracks team performance and procedure compliance.
- Oversees and engages in product flow activities.
- Tracks lot traceability and manages lot transitions.
- Communicates issues or concerns to the Assembly Supervisor.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase team efficiency.
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Adjusts work assignments to complete higher-priority work first.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
