Overview

US Conec is seeking a detail‑oriented Assembly Production Support Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you’ll lead quality assurance activities within the Assembly Department by ensuring products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. The position serves as the first point of contact for quality‑related decisions on the production floor, partnering with Quality, Operations, and Engineering to drive defect reduction, support operators, and maintain consistent quality performance.

The Assembly Production Support Specialist provides guidance, training, and real‑time decision‑making to ensure adherence to standard processes and acceptable product criteria.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed product inspections using microscopes and other measurement tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Make real‑time decisions on product acceptability, clearly defining pass/fail criteria for operators and leads.
  • Support operators in understanding quality expectations, including identifying defects and adhering to inspection standards.
  • Partner with the Quality team to align on quality standards, containment actions, and corrective measures.
  • Analyze quality data (rework, scrap, defects) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate quality concerns, trends, and expectations clearly to leads and supervisors to ensure alignment across shifts.
  • Lead containment activities for non‑conforming material, including segregation, documentation, and escalation as needed.
  • Assist in root cause analysis efforts and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure adherence to Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), quality standards, and audit requirements on the production floor.
  • Provide hands‑on training and coaching to operators on proper inspection techniques and quality expectations.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection results, defect tracking, and audit findings.
  • Act as the primary quality point of contact during the shift, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Technicians to address product or process‑related quality concerns.
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company quality systems and procedures.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and consistency in quality standards across the Assembly Department.
Must Haves (Qualifications)
  • High school diploma.
  • 2–4 years of experience using microscopes and inspection tools.
  • Strong ability to identify defects and determine product acceptability based on defined standards.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and influence operators, leads, and supervisors.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks to meet production and quality deadlines.
