* ** We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor. This position will be based at our new facility in Fort Worth, TX.*
* ** You'll make an impact by:*
* + Primary responsibilities include Receiving, Storage, Inventory management, Delivery to Manufacturing, and Shipping and will work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production while leading a team of 10-20 team members.
+ Team's accurate and efficient receipt, storing, fulfillment and kitting, and delivering material to the assembly lines.
+ Handling team schedules and daily assignments.
+ Warehouse cycle counting, inventory discrepancy, root cause and resolution.
** You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:*
* Basic Qualifications:
+ 2 or more years' experience in manufacturing processes and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, etc.)
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply-chain management are strongly desired, although a combination of educations (High School Diploma or GED) and directly related work experience will also be considered.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to work with various levels in organization.
+ Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written and presentations skills.
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Project management with proven delivery of improvement project in a manufacturing environment.
+ Lean, Six Sigman, Root Cause and/or Continuous Improvement skills (APICS/CPM Accreditation)
