Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Equipment Engineer to take ownership of production equipment across its full lifecycle — from evaluation and installation through maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement. You will be a critical technical resource on the manufacturing floor, ensuring equipment reliability and production efficiency while driving a culture of safety and process discipline.
What You’ll DoEquipment Commissioning - Lead the evaluation, installation, and commissioning of new production equipment. Provide technical training to operators and technicians to ensure seamless handovers and production readiness.
Standardization & Documentation - Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs), equipment inspection checklists, and comprehensive preventive/predictive maintenance protocols.
Spare Parts Management - Oversee equipment fixed assets and maintain a strategic critical spare parts inventory — with emphasis on wear‑and‑tear components — to minimize unplanned downtime.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve equipment faults with speed and precision. Design and execute scheduled maintenance programs that maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
Safety & Compliance - Champion equipment safety management across the production floor. Ensure all machinery meets OSHA standards and applicable local regulations.
Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance, reduce cycle times, and improve reliability.
What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of equipment management and maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience with automated production lines; prismatic cell Battery Pack assembly background is a strong plus
- Proven track record of equipment commissioning, SOP development, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills — you diagnose fast and act decisively
