Job Overview
As an Embroidery Associate in our OCF operations, you will be part of the team that provides logistics solutions that deliver our clients’ products using high volume, multi-distribution networks.
Responsibilities- Operates sewing machine to embroider name/logos on garments:
Reads work order to determine type and location of embroidery. - Selects size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbin.
- Turns setscrews to regulate machine settings.
- Positions article under presser foot and presses pedal or knee control to start machine and control speed of sewing.
- Observes sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies lead/supervisor of malfunction.
- May repair defective embroidery or fill in blanks left by embroidery machine.
- May operate automatic embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Barudin equipment a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Good attendance.
- Attention to detail.
- Some computer skills.
- Follow directions.
- Multitask.
- Ability to constantly stand and walk throughout the workday.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and flexibility in schedule.
- Sense of urgency.
- Weekly pay with skill pay and shift differentials.
